Bag of Sand

Sand is used for several purposes within the Incense, Smudging and Cleansing and Resin practises. A specific type of sand is used which can withstand the heat produced from burning different types of products.

Sand is necessary for use with Dhoop or Tibetan styles as these types of Incense as they do not have a bamboo stick at their core. When burning Incense Cones, Sand can also be used as a base for burning, after burning has finished, any remnants can simply be mixed into the sand and reused therefore making this product eco-friendly.

Smudging and Cleansing, Sand can be used as a medium to extinguish smudge sticks, Palo Santo wood sticks or Sweetgrass Braids after a smudging performance.

For use with Resins, Sand is a safe and practical alternative to a charcoal disk holder. The disc can be placed on the sand, lit and used to burn resin without having to move the charcoal discs once lit.

This Sand can be used again and again plus if necessary, it can be sieved to remove any larger pieces of remnants or unburnt products.
