Essential Oils were used by the Persians around the 10th century, though Essential Oil Distillation was not published till the 16th century. Physicians in Europe became more established in the 19th century, but most Medical Doctors focused on using Chemical Drugs, a growing number recognized the Potential of Essential Oils in Treating Disease and the role of Natural Botanicals in Treating Illness.
