Musk is part of a group of aromatic substances commonly used as base notes in perfumery. In the past it included ‘glandular secretions’ from animals such as the Musk Deer, but to obtain the Musk required means killing the Animal. The use of Natural Animal Musk was prohibited in 1979, when the various ‘Musk Animals’ were protected by International Agreements.

Today, ALL Musk fragrance used in Perfumery is Plant-based, such as Garden Angelica, Musk Flower or Ambrette seeds which are known "White Musk", a more Ethical approach to producing a much loved scent plus making it less expensive than the Natural Animal Musk.

This perfume oil has an Earthy, Animalistic, Sensual quality which are not overpowering, making it an absolute classic that has a Rich, Leathery and Spicy aroma with hints of Oak Moss and Patchouli making this perfume is suitable for both men and women.
