Copal is a name given to aromatic Tree Resin, resins from Protium Copal Tree, part of the Buresa family . The word COPAL is derived from the Aztec word for Incense, “Copabia”, used by the cultures of pre-Columbian Mesoamerica Indigenous Tribes throughout Mexico, Central and South America for thousands of years as ceremonially burned Incense and Oil. White Copal is the most widely grown resin but there is a Rare Black Copal found only in Kerala, India.

Many Traditional Cultures, past and present, consider White Copal usage a Sacred Rite and an essential part of their Spiritual Practices because of its effective range of beneficial qualities experience like Sensorial, Healing, and Therapeutic.
